- Once you have logged into Gites, you will be taken to your dashboard.
- Click on ‘edit’ under the picture of the house on the right.
- Click on the ‘Prices’ tab.
- Go to the section: ‘Add price period’.
- Now enter a start and end date for the first price period.
- Enter the minimum length of stay and the weekly price for that period. It is also important to enter a daily rate if you are also renting for periods shorter or longer than 7 days.
- Then indicate whether there is an arrival and departure day (changeover day). This can also cover several days.
- When you have finished, click on ‘Save price period’.
TIP: Clicking on ‘Optional: Specify price when used by fewer guests’ opens a schedule where you can display different prices for different occupancies. This is an option, often useful for the low season.
- You can then add a new price period (the start date is already there, it is the same date as the end date of the previous period).
- You can display additional costs in the tickable fields.
- The text field ‘Other price information / offers’ is for additional costs, e.g. cot hire or additional pet costs. The tourist tax (for bookings in the booking module) is calculated and levied by Gites!
By clicking on the square with the pen next to a price period, you can change the price period again.
